HOW HAS COVID-19 IMPACTED HIRING & EMPLOYMENT AT CSS FEDERAL?

We hope that you are staying safe and healthy during these trying times.

 

While our normal routines are temporarily suspended, our Talent Acquisition team continues to seek out top talent for our contracts and for our company.

 

We are fortunate that our work, culture, and robust infrastructure allow for100% telework/remote work for all our employees during this time period.

HOW DO I SEARCH AND APPLY FOR CAREERS?

To search our current career openings, please go to our career portal, iCIMS, https://css-tantustech.icims.com.

 

If your search does not yield any results, it means we do not have any openings for that specific skill set search. You can try to search again with other criteria selected.

 

If a career opening is no longer listed, it means the position has been closed or removed from the career portal.

WHAT HAPPENS TO MY INFORMATION IF I CREATE A PROFILE IN iCIMS?  

Once you create a profile, your resume will be uploaded to our database in iCIMS. We’ll review your qualifications and experience and compare them with the needs of our current opportunities. If there's a fit, you’ll hear directly from a member of the CSS Federal Talent Acquisition team.

 

HOW DO I KNOW IF A CAREER ALLOWS TELEWORK/REMOTE WORK?

A career opening may require you to relocate geographically. Most of the customers we support are in the Washington, D.C. metro area and our work is largely on the client site (full-time and/or part-time). If a position allows 100% remote work, that will be specified in the job description.

WHAT IS THE STATUS ON MY APPLICATION?

When you apply for a career opportunity, you’re added to our recruiter’s candidate database in iCIMS along with anyone else who has applied. Then, an email is sent to the CSS Federal Talent Acquisition team alerting them that you applied to an opportunity. In that email, we receive a snapshot of your profile information. Our recruiters will review your credentials against current and upcoming hiring needs, and will contact you directly if there is a match with your experience and skill set.

Please note that the timeframe of your application process will depend on the specific opportunity and the number of applicants for that specific opportunity.

HOW DO I KNOW IF AN INTERVIEW OR OFFER IS LEGITIMATE?

We conduct all electronic correspondence using email addresses that end in "cssfederal.com " or via our applicant tracking system, iCIMS. We do not use Zoom, Google Duo/Hangouts, Skype, or Facebook Live to interview candidates or make job offers.

 

We are aware of fraudulent attempts to collect applicants' personal information by perpetrators posing as hiring managers or recruiters.

CAN I WORK FOR CSS FEDERAL IF I AM NOT A U.S. CITIZEN?

Most of our work is in support of the United States federal government and therefore the citizenship status for our team all depends on the requirements for the specific position and government customer you will be supporting.

HOW DO I UNSUBSCRIBE FROM CSS FEDERAL CAREERS CORRESPONDANCE?

To stop receiving information and alerts about career opportunities at CSS Federal, please email TA@cssfederal.com which will trigger the removal of your resume from our iCIMS career portal and database.

WHAT IS THE INTERVIEW PROCESS ?

You will interview with a recruiter first. Then, you'll have a phone interview and/or a video interview with a project manager or director plus one other team member. Besides technical questions, you will also be asked behavioral questions.

 

IS THERE A REFERRAL PROGRAM?

Yes! Don’t forget to tell your friends about us. Our referral program is the great: you'll be eligible to receive a $1,500 referral bonus if your referral is hired and remains employed by CSS Federal for more than 90 days!

WHAT ARE STANDARD WORKING HOURS?

Our core hours are 9:00 A.M. - 3:00 P.M. Eastern Time. However, flexible hours are given to all employees during this time as we all navigate the impacts of COVID-19. In the future, our telework policy may be adjusted to best meet our customers' needs.
